Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a helicopter pilot to provide medical air transport services. You will work with a medical team to relocate patients, maintain aircraft readiness, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role involves clear communication with dispatch and flight crews. Required rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate, instrument rating, Class II medical, and substantial flight hours including PIC and turbine experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• Total flight hours must total 2,000 and helicopter hours 1,500.
• PIC hours at least 1,000 and turbine helicopter hours at least 500.
• Night hours: 100 unaided or 50 unaided with 100 aided.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with a medical team to and from locations.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per manuals and FARs.
• Maintain regulatory docs and records accurately.
• Coordinate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information to the next pilot following protocol.
