Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. You will work with medical teams, ensuring aircraft readiness and compliance with FARs and company policies while maintaining documentation and collaborating with dispatch and flight crews.

The role requires a rotorcraft Commercial certificate, helicopter instrument rating, and a Class II medical certificate, with substantial flight hours and turbine experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a rotorcraft FAA Commercial certificate and helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• Minimum 2,000 total flight hours with 1,500 helicopter hours and 1,000 helicopter PIC hours.
• At least 500 turbine helicopter hours; 100 night hours unaided (or 50 unaided with 100 aided).
• Weight limit 230 pounds with flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients with a medical team to and from locations.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per manuals and safety standards.
• Maintain required regulatory documentation and records.
• Coordinate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift-change information to the next pilot and team per procedures.
• Maintain certifications and ongoing training as required.
