Job summary

Arkansas Children's is seeking an experienced aviation maintenance professional to maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and document airframe and engine systems to ensure airworthiness and FAA compliance.

Responsibilities include inspections, record-keeping, fuel farm management, coordination with the Director of Maintenance, and collaboration with vendors and the FAA. Safety is the top priority in all operations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• 6 years of Transport experience required.
• Airframe and Powerplant License - FAA required.
• Inspection Authorization (IA) - FAA recommended.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections, repairs and component changes per manufacturers' manuals or FAA procedures.
• Maintains work records, maintenance forms and log books.
• Manage AC aviation fuel farm; accepts fuel per policy and ensures quality.
• Assist in cleaning aircraft and hangar.
• Inform communications center and supervisor of unscheduled maintenance.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance with the Director of Maintenance.
• Work with manufacturers, vendors, repair facilities and the FAA.
• Place safety as the top priority for aviation operations.
• Assist in ordering and maintaining aircraft parts inventory and vendor tooling.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Description

• Performs all inspections, repairs and component changes ensuring all are accomplished in accordance with manufacturers' maintenance manuals, and/or FAA approved procedures.
