Job summary

Optima Aero USA Inc. in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a skilled Helicopter Dynamics/Component Overhaul Technician to inspect, disassemble, repair, overhaul, and reassemble helicopter components to meet safety and performance standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of hands-on overhaul experience, strong knowledge of helicopter systems, and proficiency with diagnostic tools; A&P license preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position with potential for flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on overhaul experience with helicopters or rotary-wing aircraft.
• In-depth understanding of helicopter mechanical, avionics and electrical systems.
• Proficient with specialized tools and overhaul procedures for components.
• Strong attention to precision, safety and quality when handling high-value parts.
• Excellent problem-solving and root-cause analysis abilities.
• Able to lift heavy components and work in confined spaces as required.
• Must have legal right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Component Overhaul: disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble helicopter components.
• Inspection & Testing: perform detailed inspections and functional tests with diagnostic tools.
• Documentation & Compliance: maintain accurate records and comply with FAA/EASA regulations.
• Troubleshooting: diagnose mechanical/electrical issues and apply repair methods.
• Quality Control: ensure workmanship meets industry standards for safety and performance.
• Inventory Management: track parts and ensure timely ordering to prevent delays.
• Collaboration & Communication: coordinate with engineers and operations for timely tasks.
