Job summary

Advantmed is seeking an HEDIS Auditor Trainee for a remote, part-time seasonal role in the United States. You will train 20–40 hours per week, with shift hours from 6 AM to 6 PM EST, and report to the HEDIS QA Manager during training.

Starting pay is $25 per hour during training, increasing to $30 per hour after successful completion. The position prepares you to perform HEDIS abstraction and knowledge transfer during the live season.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years/seasons of HEDIS abstraction/review experience.
• Certification required or active nursing license as listed.
• Ability to work remotely within US and commit to training pace.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply HEDIS concepts from specs and client guidance.
• Process recorded trainings and ensure understanding in the tool.
• Transfer knowledge during live season to abstractors during training.

Job Title:HEDIS Auditor Trainee

Shift Hours:Applicant should be available to work from 6 AM to 6 PM EST.

This is a remote position available to candidates located within the United States. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.

Pay Structure:

• The training pay rate is $25 per hour

• Post Training completion, the pay rate increases to $30 per hour

HEDIS Auditor Trainee – Onshore

Remote position, reporting to HEDIS QA Manager during training phase.

HEDIS auditor trainee is responsible for learning and applying the concepts of HEDIS based on HEDIS Technical Specifications and client guidance as portrayed in Advantmed training material.

This role involves training on HEDIS measures, which includes all recorded measure trainings, recorded demo records to ensure an understanding on how to abstract in the tool, any recorded supplemental training, supplemental and measure training assessments, and test records in the training portal.

This role is a prerequisite for the auditor position where you will be providing knowledge transfer of the information you learned during training, to abstractors during their training phase and during the live season.

• Must acquire a base score of 97.5% overall.
• Complete all training in the defined timeline.
• Must attempt all training as scheduled in the HEDIS training planner which will be provided on Day 1 of your training or communicate to HEDIS Manager with any changes in schedule.
• Must have a professional attitude and willingness to learn.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years/seasons of experience in HEDIS Abstraction / Review
• Medical Coder Certification:CPC, CCS, RHIT, RHIA through AAPC or AHIMAOR
• Licensed Nurse:LPN, LVN, RN with an active license
