SouthState Bank, N.A. seeks a Hedge Closer to own hedging operations within the Commercial Lending ARC team.

You will support borrower presentations, review credit memos for hedge approval, and liaise with lenders and borrowers to ensure accurate pricing and documentation. Qualified candidates will have strong financial analysis skills, derivative pricing knowledge, and experience with Bloomberg and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting is recommended to understand financial statements.
• Finance/Accounting experience of at least five years in lieu of a degree.
• Required annual compliance training and New Employee Orientation.

Responsabilités

• Supports sales by providing borrower presentations and reviewing credit memos for hedge approval.
• Reviews customer credit analysis and borrower hedging requests.
• Communicates with Commercial Lenders and borrowers.
• Reviews closing documents and drafts Rate Conversion Agreements.
• Schedules closings and coordinates with internal/external stakeholders.
• Interacts with the ARC trading desk to ensure trades are executed correctly.
• Prepares financial position reports and analyzes derivative pricing.
• May communicate with customers, CPAs, and internal comptrollers.
