Home Work Staffing in Chevy Chase, MD is seeking an experienced full-time nanny to care for a newborn and a toddler. The baby is due in March 2027 and will be about 2.5 months old at start. The family values Hebrew language exposure and a nurturing, structured routine in a kosher, Shabbat-observant home.

The role requires infant care, light toddler duties, daily reports, and collaboration with parents. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm with flexibility for longer days; live-out;

Qualifikationen

• Hebrew-speaking required (intermediate fluency acceptable)
• Clear English communication with parents
• Proven professional nanny experience with infants
• Experience with toddlers is a plus
• Current infant CPR certification or First Aid preferred
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines; Tdap in past year
• Valid driver’s license (no driving duties)
• Respect for kosher, Shabbat-observant household and religious practices
• 3–5 professional references
• Long-term commitment and reliability

Aufgaben

• Provide attentive, nurturing full-time infant care (bottle feeding, diapering, clothing, soothing)
• Establish healthy sleep and feeding routines; monitor patterns
• Maintain a daily log of feeding, sleeping, diaper changes; provide updates
• Care for toddler when home from school
• Plan age-appropriate play and early language activities
• Speak Hebrew with children and uphold Jewish traditions
• Follow parents’ infant care and household hygiene instructions
• Handle baby laundry, bottle/nursery upkeep, meal prep and tidy play areas
• Maintain a calm, loving home aligned with family parenting approach
