A warm family in Chevy Chase, MD is seeking a full-time nanny to care for a newborn and a toddler. The role starts in June 2027 and runs 12 months, with potential for a longer-term position for the right fit.

The family speaks Hebrew at home and follows Jewish cultural traditions; the ideal candidate speaks Hebrew or has strong knowledge of customs and holidays, and will provide nurturing, reliable care. The schedule is 9:00am - 5:00pm, 40 hours per week, with CPR certification expected.

Qualifications

• Hebrew language or strong knowledge of Jewish customs and traditions required.
• Proven professional nanny experience with newborns/infants.
• Experience with toddlers is a plus.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (infant/child).
• 3–5 professional references available.
• Commitment to 12 months, with potential longer-term role.

Responsabilités

• Provide full-time newborn care including feeding, diapering, bathing, soothing and safe sleep.
• Support newborn routines and share daily updates with parents.
• Care for the toddler before and after preschool, including drop-off and pick-up as needed.
• Engage children in age-appropriate play and early learning.
• Speak Hebrew and support Jewish traditions at home.
• Handle child-related household tasks like baby laundry, meals and nursery upkeep.
• Maintain a calm, loving environment aligned with the family’s parenting approach.
