Job summary

Amentum is seeking a licensed truck driver in the United States to transport parts, materials, and equipment to predetermined destinations. The role requires adherence to safety standards, load securement, and regular vehicle maintenance in depot environments.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid license, and the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. The position is hourly and qualifies under SCA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six months general experience and six months specific experience.
• Must obtain license to operate equipment within 30 days of selection.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks up to 14,000 lbs to destinations per instructions.
• Inspect trucks before and after trips.
• Monitor vehicle and report maintenance needs.
• Secure loads for safe arrival.
• Report via radio or cell phone.
• Assist in loading and unloading.
• Must have a valid operator's license.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance on the truck.
