Job summary

24hrsafetyllc is seeking a CDL A driver with HazMat endorsement to load, deliver, unload, and pickup equipment and PPE from local sites. You will handle safe, on-time deliveries and may serve as an Air Shop Technician as needed, while complying with all DOT regulations.

The role requires 10+ years of Class A CDL experience, a clean driving record, and a TWIC card, with responsibilities expanding to field services and customer relations. Overtime and weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Safety conscious with a clean 10 year driving record (no driver infractions or accidents).
• 10+ years Class A CDL driver experience with a current HAZ-MAT endorsement.
• Current TWIC card.
• Must be 30 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up PPE, breathing air and/or bottle trailers timely from designated sites.
• Provide courteous customer relations and maintain a reputation for safe, accurate, and on-time deliveries/pick-ups.
• Serve as Air Shop Technician: inspection, cleaning, servicing, reassembling, testing equipment per procedures.
• Upgrade skills and capabilities to handle new assignments (SOP training).
• Refuse unsafe tasks and report incidents to management.
• Respond safely and promptly to work requests from Operations Dispatcher.
• Comply with DOT regulations and inspect equipment for damage; report findings.
