Job summary

Akima Global Logistics (AGL) is seeking a Truck Driver – Heavy to operate commercial and military-style heavy vehicles, transporting Army equipment and materiel for site operations at Fort Campbell North, KY. CDL required with HAZMAT endorsement preferred/required for hazardous loads.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid CDL (Class A or B as required).
• HAZMAT endorsement preferred/required if hauling hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds to transport materials and equipment.
• Assist with loading/unloading and securing cargo.
• Maintain logs, tickets, and inspections per Army and company procedures.
• Ensure proper shipping documents and compliance with DOT/Army safety standards.
• Coordinate with Army units and site staff for turn-in operations and mass moves.
