About the Job

Our Mechanics are trained to provide superior maintenance on diesel equipment and our growing fleet of trucks. As a Diesel Mechanic, you'll perform preventive maintenance inspections (PMI), troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild major components on vehicles and equipment. You’ll work independently on equipment that requires a high level of skill with hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostics.

Requirements:

• Two (2) years of relevant work experience
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations

Responsibilities:

• Perform work within Standard Repair Times (SRTs)
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and address issues identified
• Diagnose and repair vehicles and equipment of moderate complexity
• Perform safety checks on vehicles
• Use electronic systems to interpret failure modes and initiate repairs
• Estimate repair times and costs, requisition parts
• Inspect outside repairs and rebuilds, assess structural damage, and determine necessary repairs
• Handle emergency breakdown service calls
