HEAVY TRUCK DIESEL MECHANIC $5000 SIGN ON BONUS!

Shift:

2ND | Hours: 2PM-11:30PM

About the Job

Our Mechanics are trained to provide superior maintenance on diesel equipment and our growing fleet of trucks. As a Diesel Mechanic, you'll perform preventive maintenance inspections (PMI), troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild major components on vehicles and equipment. You'll work independently on equipment requiring a high level of skill with hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostics.

Requirements

• Two (2) years of relevant work experience
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations

Responsibilities

• Perform work within Standard Repair Times (SRTs)
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and repairs
• Diagnose and repair vehicles and equipment
• Conduct safety checks
• Use electronic systems to interpret failure modes
• Estimate repair costs and requisition parts
• Inspect outside repairs and rebuilds, assess structural damage
• Perform emergency service calls

• Commitment to safety, maintaining a clean and safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards
• Use motor coordination and handle objects less than 30 pounds most of the day
