Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking a hands-on assembler to join the Cleveland, NC team. You will assemble and install components for heavy-duty trucks, following documented processes and safety standards. The role emphasizes attention to detail, accuracy in reading drawings, and must be able to work overtime and on various shifts.

The position is onsite in Cleveland, NC, with relocation not offered. You will use computer systems to access BOMs and specifications and work with jigs, fixtures

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write in English and conduct basic math.
• Ability to perform all essential functions of the job.
• Able to lift, carry, pull and push moderate to heavy equipment and parts.

Responsibilities

• Perform physically demanding manufacturing duties including repetitive processes and use of machinery.
• Participate in safety, quality, attendance, productivity and housekeeping improvements.
• Install and assemble components for heavy-duty trucks.
• Access company data via computer systems using drawings, BOMs and specification sheets.
• Operate jigs, fixtures and pneumatic and DC tools for assembly.
