Swanston Equipment in Fargo, ND is hiring Heavy Road Construction Equipment Service Technicians. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy machinery in your own shop bay and may perform on-site calls with a CDL class A. A $4k sign-on bonus is offered.

Now Hiring - HEAVY ROAD CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT SERVICE TECHNICIANS

($4k SIGN-ON BONUS)

Love taking things apart, seeing how they work, and putting them back together so they run like new? Do you want to work in your own service bay, be paid weekly, have access to great benefits, and work with your hands?

What you'll do:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, document and repair heavy road construction equipment like rollers, pavers, compaction equipment, and so much more from manufacturers like Etnyre, Finn, Broce, WRT and more!
• Engage in cross departmental and cross dealership collaboration for training, learning and growing your skills
• Work in a shop environment in your own, dedicated bay
• Like going on service calls and have a Class A CDL? Jump in the service truck for onsite customer help

Requirements

What you'll bring:

• A solid technician background, skilled in hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical repairs and systems
• Experience working in an equipment dealership
• Solid troubleshooting skills
• High mechanical aptitude
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to read and understand schematics
• Ability to lift up to 75+lbs.
• A full set of tools
• Reliability, self-motivation, positivity, and a can-do attitude
