Barnhart is seeking a mechanically inclined Millwright to join our team on heavy lift and rigging projects across the country. You will move, install, align, and maintain heavy equipment while working with experienced professionals on demanding site challenges.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
• Good grasp of mathematics, measurements, and load concepts.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work safely.
• Willingness to travel, work overtime, and adapt schedules.

Responsibilities

• Move equipment and machinery using proper and safe rigging and lifting practices.
• Align, level, and anchor cranes and other equipment.
• Assemble and install supporting structures, rigging, hoists, and pulling gear.
• Connect pulleys and blocks to overhead structures using bolts, shackles, and clamps.
• Prepare machines and surfaces for installation and operation.
• Direct and control lifting operations to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Inspect rigging systems and store gear after use.
