Job summary

ExxonMobil in Spring, TX, invites an experienced production engineer to optimize diluent management for a Cold Lake, Alberta asset. The role combines data-driven decision making with cross-functional collaboration to maximize asset value and support unconventional oil projects.

You will lead surveillance, reporting, and opportunities across reservoirs, blending technical expertise with robust data analysis and stakeholder engagement. Travel to Canada is required occasionally.

Qualifications

• Minimum BS degree in Engineering required in Petroleum, Chemical, or Mechanical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years relevant upstream oil & gas experience.
• Experience in fluid sampling and reservoir fluid property analysis.
• Strong data management, quality control, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Surveillance and reporting of diluent use and process performance.
• Optimize diluent management and support asset value through surveillance and decision making.
• Coordinate with Development team on future opportunities and integrate findings.
• Travel occasionally to Cold Lake, Alberta.
