You will operate excavators and other heavy machinery, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safety and on-time project completion. Licensing to operate heavy equipment is required and government jobs may involve Davis Bacon wages.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of large, heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, compactors, telehandlers, forklifts, and more.
• Maintain all equipment used, including cleaning and regular maintenance.
• Follow best excavating practices per specification.
• Work closely with the team on each project to ensure success.
• Read and follow Blueprint specifications.

As a Heavy Machine Operator, you will work behind the wheel operating a variety of heavy machinery and equipment (excavators etc), following all safety guidelines and job specifications to ensure projects are completed both safely and on time. You will also perform and record regular maintenance for your equipment, report any defects or issues immediately, and keep equipment in good, clean working order. The ideal candidate has all the necessary licensing to operate heavy machinery, works well in a team environment, and maintains the highest safety standards. *Some jobs may be Government jobs which would include Davis Bacon Wages.*
