Qualifications

• Experience with construction or heavy equipment required.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.
• Demonstrated attention to detail in field operations.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Valid driver's license and active CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of large machinery such as excavators, loaders, compactors, tele handlers, forklifts.
• Maintain equipment through cleaning and regular servicing.
• Follow best excavation practices per project specifications.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure project success.
• Read and follow blueprint specifications.

As a Heavy Machine Operator, you will work behind the wheel operating a variety of heavy machinery and equipment (excavators etc), following all safety guidelines and job specifications to ensure projects are completed both safely and on time. You will also perform and record regular maintenance for your equipment, report any defects or issues immediately, and keep equipment in good, clean working order. The ideal candidate has all the necessary licensing to operate heavy machinery, works well in a team environment, and maintains the highest safety standards. Some jobs may be Government jobs which would include Davis Bacon Wages.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of large, heavy machinery safely, such as excavators, loaders, compactors, tele handlers, forklifts, and more
• Maintain all equipment used, including cleaning and regular maintenance
• Follow best excavating practices for all projects per specification
• Work closely with the rest of the team on each project to ensure success
• Able to read and follow Blueprint specifications

• Previous construction or heavy equipment experience required
• Strong communication skills

• The ability to work well within a team environment
