Job summary

Sammons Industrial is looking for a Service Technician I (Heavy Line) to diagnose, repair, and maintain material handling equipment in our shop and at customer locations. This on-site role requires a valid driver's license and 1+ year of equipment repair experience. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting while following DOT/OSHA safety protocols.

Tools will be provided? you must furnish yours; trade school or technician certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of equipment repair or related experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Certification on at least 50% of the designated product line preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and rebuild engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, steering, lifting systems, and other equipment components.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and basic welding as needed.
• Follow safety practices (DOT and OSHA) and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Complete repair documentation, manage parts and supplies, and participate in required technical training.
