Moran Iron Works, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex heavy industrial fabrication projects from award to completion.

You will ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget adherence, while bridging communication among estimating teams, shop staff, and external stakeholders. You will drive execution plans, monitor WIP, maintain documentation, and uphold superior customer satisfaction on every order.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; hands-on experience matters most.
• Experience managing complex heavy fabrication or structural steel projects.
• Ability to interpret project financials, track WIP, and manage multi-tier schedules.
• Proficiency with project management software and drafting/viewer tools.

Responsabilités

• Manage all phases of heavy fabrication projects from estimating to delivery.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and execution plans to hit margins.
• Oversee logistics, material handling, invoicing, and specialized transport scheduling.
• Direct and coordinate team activities to meet milestones and deliverables.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training project support staff.
• Assign workloads, evaluate performance, and support team development.
• Review WIP and project performance metrics with stakeholders.
• Maintain clear communication between customers, internal teams, and executives.
• Maintain accurate change orders and status reports in core systems.
