Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Granite City, Illinois, is seeking a maintenance technician to install, repair, and troubleshoot a wide range of mechanical systems in a heavy industrial setting. You’ll work with cranes, conveyors, and mobile equipment to keep equipment running at peak performance.

You will handle rotating 8-hour shifts, sometimes with overtime, and must follow strict safety procedures and PPE requirements to protect yourself and coworkers while maintaining production with minimal

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of manufacturing and/or industrial experience (including relevant military experience) or equivalent education.
Ability to work 8-hour rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Strict adherence to safety procedures and wearing required PPE: hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective clothing, and metatarsal boots.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, power transmission, conveyors, cranes, and mobile equipment.
Operate cranes, conveyors and other equipment in support of production.
Work at heights and in confined spaces with proper procedures and permits.
Collaborate with other maintenance technicians to keep the mill running smoothly.
