Job summary

Gem Care, Inc. is seeking General Laborers for heavy industrial work in Knoxville, TN. Work involves assembling or constructing components from engineering drawings, following safety protocols, and using hand tools and machinery.

Positions are on a contract-to-hire basis with potential for full-time placement. You must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, and be able to work four 10-hour shifts with possible overtime on 1st or 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• MUST have high school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience working with equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
• Experience working around Heavy Industrial equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate and assemble components from engineering drawings for large heavy industrial equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and use required safety equipment.
• Utilize a variety of hand tools, machines and equipment to perform heavy manual labor.
• Maintain strong attention to detail throughout tasks.
