Job summary

Gem Care, Inc. is seeking General Laborers for heavy industrial work in Knoxville, TN. Work involves assembling or constructing components from engineering drawings, following safety protocols, and using hand tools and machinery.

Positions are on a contract-to-hire basis with potential for full-time placement. You must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, and be able to work four 10-hour shifts with possible overtime on 1st or 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• MUST have high school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience working with equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
• Experience working around Heavy Industrial equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities

General Laborer - Heavy Industrial - 1st Shift & 2nd Shift

Pay rate is $20.00 per hour plus a .50 cent shift premium for 2nd Shift.

Immediate openings for General Laborers on a contract-to-hire basis in Knoxville, TN. Working four (4) ten hour shifts (Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday). Must be willing and able to work first and second shift as needed. Some overtime is required. Location is in central Knoxville.

Must be able to pass an pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Heavy Industrial General Laborer performing various tasks, duties, and activities as well as construction on large heavy industrial equipment. Working from Engineering drawings to perform necessary assembly or construction of company products. Following all safety protocols and using related safety equipment.
