Job summary

Curtis Contracting, Inc. (CCI) seeks a Heavy Highway & Civil Safety Compliance Manager to lead safety on complex civil projects. You’ll monitor sites for OSHA-aligned practices, conduct inspections, and drive incident investigations.

You will design and deliver toolbox talks, and collaborate with operations to implement mitigations. We value experienced leaders with strong OSHA knowledge, OSHA 30/CHST credentials, and the ability to travel among regional jobsites, ensuring current site safety

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience and strong OSHA knowledge.
• Proven ability to lead safety programs on heavy civil projects.
• OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, CHST or similar credentials preferred.
• Influential communicator with leadership presence in field.

Responsibilities

• Lead inspections, audits, and incident investigations on jobsites.
• Design and deliver toolbox talks and safety training.
• Build and update site-specific safety plans (SSSPs) with project teams.
• Maintain complete safety documentation, logs, and reports.
