Job summary

Warren CAT is seeking a Heavy Haul Driver II to operate a Class 8 tractor and trailer, transporting heavy machinery per DOT and company rules. The role requires handling up to 60,000–80,000+ lb payloads, performing secure loading and unloading, and maintaining logs and equipment condition.

The position demands a valid Class A CDL, pre/post trip inspections, and flexibility for 100% travel. Health, dental, vision, life, and 401(k) benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; one year certificate from college or technical school or related experience.
• Must have a Class A CDL verified by MVR and DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to work with tools and equipment and perform inspections.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and Work Steps assessment.
• Must be flexible in work schedule and travel up to 100%.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class A tractor/trailer with heavy haul capacity and up to 6 axles.
• Load, secure, and transport machinery and materials per safety rules.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report deficiencies.
• Maintain electronic logs and communicate delivery status to supervisor.
• Interact with customers and vendors and follow dispatch instructions.
