Job Title:Heavy Haul Permit Specialist
Company: Paul Logistics | Paul Transportation
Location:Houston, TX
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (standard daytime hours)
Salary: $70,000-80,000
Paul is looking for an experienced Heavy Haul Permit Specialist to support the continued growth of our Heavy Haul and Specialized Cargo division.
This position will work across both our asset-based Heavy Haul fleet and Logistics/brokerage operation, helping plan and execute oversize, overweight, over-dimensional, and superload shipments throughout the United States.
This is not a traditional dispatcher position. We need someone who understands heavy haul, can look at the dimensions and weight of a shipment and help determine what it will take to move it safely and legally, and can work through permitting, routing, equipment, escorts, and the other details that come with specialized transportation.
This position is joining a Heavy Haul operation that we are actively investing in and growing.
Paul brings together an established Heavy Haul asset fleet and a nationwide Logistics carrier network, giving our team the ability to find the right solution for specialized freight rather than being limited to one type of equipment or capacity.
We're looking for someone who wants to help us build that operation- not simply sit behind a desk and pull permits.
If you understand Heavy Haul, enjoy solving difficult transportation problems, and know that "we've moved something similar before" doesn't automatically mean it'll permit the same way this time, we want to talk to you.
