Job summary

Barnhart Energy Company is seeking a Goldhofer Operator to operate specialized heavy transport equipment and assemble trailer configurations for large, high-value loads. You will inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot hydraulic and electronic systems while coordinating with foremen, drivers, and rigging crews across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license is required.
• Strong commitment to safe equipment operation.
• At least one year of experience operating heavy equipment or similar machinery.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to inspect and maintain equipment.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently.
• Preferred: heavy haul/specialized transportation or hydraulic platform trailers experience.
• Preferred: knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic/electronic systems.
• Preferred: ability to read schematics/manufacturer specs.

Responsibilities

• Operate Goldhofer hydraulic platform trailers and other specialized heavy transport equipment.
• Assemble, configure, and disassemble trailer configurations based on project requirements.
• Transport oversized and high-value loads safely and efficiently across a variety of job sites.
• Conduct daily and monthly inspections to ensure equipment remains operational and compliant.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems.
• Work closely with foremen, drivers, rigging crews, and project teams during transport operations.
• Maintain constant communication throughout transport activities to ensure safe and successful project execution.

What You Bring

Required:

• CDL Class A license
