Job summary

W.W. Clyde & Co. is seeking a Heavy Haul Equipment Transport Driver to safely move heavy construction equipment to and from job sites across the Intermountain West. The role is a Full Time, unionized position under Local 222 Teamsters.

Responsibilities include loading, securing, transporting equipment, and ensuring DOT compliance and safety. Occasional overnight travel is required; a valid CDL with multiple endorsements and a DOT medical card are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid CDL with Doubles, Triples, Hazmat, and Tanker endorsements.
• Solid knowledge of DOT compliance and safety requirements.
• Proven ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
• Willingness to travel to job sites across the Intermountain West.
• Willingness to join Local 222 Teamsters Union.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, measure, and transport heavy equipment to and from job sites.
• Transport broken or inoperable equipment to repair shops as needed.
• Maintain a valid CDL with required endorsements and a DOT medical card.
• Know and comply with all DOT regulations, including load height and width restrictions.
• Maintain an insurable driving record and a safe work environment at all times.
• Be prepared for occasional overnight stays (travel required).
