Job summary

Crane Service Inc is seeking a Heavy Haul Driver to haul oversize/overweight loads on hydraulic transporters and trailers. You will load/unload equipment, assist project managers with planning, and work with escorts and OTR dispatch.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years of safe driving history, a Class A CDL, and knowledge of FMCSA/OSHA oversize regulations. DOT medical card and TWIC may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of consistent safe driving history as a full-time driver.
• Must have obtained a Class A CDL; additional endorsements (doubles/triples) preferred.
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Physical and possess a valid medical certificate.
• Knowledge of FMCSA, OSHA and oversize regulations.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English.
• Must be able to obtain a TWIC card.
• Minimum Level of Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks hauling loads to job sites or customers’ destinations using heavy hauling equipment.
• Prepares heavy hauling loads for delivery.
• Loads and unloads equipment; assembles and disassembles equipment as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by Hydraulic Truck Coordinator.
• Ensure the stability and integrity of all equipment loaded and transported.
