The candidate will handle outbound quotes, carrier negotiations, cost-effective load plans, and packing lists, while aligning daily tasks with the Transportation Manager and shipping teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
• Minimum 1 year with BS or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Manufacturing and Marketing/Sales to meet monthly shipping schedule.
• Maintain outbound transportation quotes and ensure trailer specifications.
• Provide inbound carrier quotes to marketing/sales and distribution.
• Improve load consolidation to reduce costs for customers.
• Oversee packing lists for shipments and ensure accuracy.
• Schedule daily workloads with Transportation Manager and shipping leads.
• Ensure domestic inbound shipments use cost-effective carriers with best transit times.
• Develop relations with open trailer carriers to meet requirements.
• Load machines/attachments safely for transport.
• Monitor boom attachments to optimize load plans and minimize truck loads.
