New England Truck Center in Chicopee, MA is seeking a CDL-A Transport Driver for a full-time role moving heavy equipment with lowbeds and wreckers. The job offers Monday– Friday hours with a rotating on-call weekend schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A with no auto transmission restrictions and proven lowbed/heavy equipment transport experience.
• 2+ years of commercial driving experience and a clean driving record.
• Active DOT Medical Card and capacity for rotating on-call weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

• Execute lowbed and heavy equipment transport moves safely and on schedule.
• Operate Tractor Trailers (GVWR > 26,000 lbs).
• Perform DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections—every time.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation.
• Navigate routes and communicate with Dispatch.
• Interact with customers professionally in the field.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety protocols.
• Keep truck clean and road-ready; report issues promptly.
