Job summary

Logistics Plus Inc is seeking an experienced Heavy Forklift Operator to safely handle oversized, heavy, and specialized industrial cargo at our facility in Arizona. You will operate large high-capacity forklifts, evaluate load balance and center of gravity, and ensure precise placement of freight while adhering to safety policies.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading, inspecting equipment, reading load diagrams and shipping documents, and coordinating safe transport of cargo.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy forklifts or similar material-handling equipment.
• Experience handling oversized, irregular, or high-value freight.
• Ability to read diagrams, load plans, and handling instructions.
• Strong understanding of load balance and center of gravity.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-capacity forklifts, including large Hyster and other heavy-lift equipment.
• Load, unload, move, and position oversized and specialized cargo.
• Assess loads for weight distribution, center of gravity, lift points, and safe handling methods.
• Read and interpret load diagrams, handling instructions, and shipping documentation.
• Safely secure and transport cargo using approved material-handling techniques.
• Perform equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures.
