Job description

Salary: $26-30 per hour

$1000 hiring bonus

Summary Description

Under supervision, repairs, services, and performs both major and minor repairs on AAA Landscape automobiles, trucks, maintenance, construction equipment, and other power-driven machinery.

Representative Duties

1. Inspect automobiles, trucks, and related equipment to determine the extent of necessary repairs or overhaul.
2. Perform general overhaul and repair work on gasoline, diesel, and propane-powered engines, including automobiles, trucks, tractors, police and fire vehicles, and other mechanical equipment at various locations.
3. Inspect, adjust, and replace components such as valves, hoses, belts, and alternators.
4. Repair cooling, fuel, electrical, and exhaust systems; tune engines using standard testing equipment.
5. Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems.
6. Perform preventive maintenance, including lubrication and oil changes.
7. Fabricate and weld to repair equipment as needed.
8. Perform vehicle bodywork and collision repairs.
9. Operate vehicles and equipment for diagnostics; transport vehicles and parts as necessary.
10. Maintain cleanliness of the garage area and equipment.
11. Manage inventory, order supplies, and research parts, equipment, and vehicles.
12. Keep records of all maintenance and repairs, track recalls, inspection dates, and warranties.
13. Perform other related duties as required.
