JB Harris Transport LLC is seeking a seasoned Yard Manager to oversee our heavy equipment yard, manage daily operations, maintenance, inventory, and logistics while leading a team.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in heavy equipment yard management with strong leadership, safety knowledge, and a track record of improving efficiency and customer satisfaction. This is a full-time on-site role with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years in heavy equipment yard management or logistics.
• At least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA standards.
• Proficient with yard management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day heavy equipment yard operations for efficiency.
• Manage scheduling, dispatch, and logistics for rentals and returns.
• Lead and develop yard personnel; conduct performance reviews and training.
• Monitor inventory, maintenance, and inspections of equipment.
• Enforce safety policies and conduct audits per OSHA standards.
