Army National Guard Units in Waterloo, IA is seeking a Surface Maintenance Repairer (WG-5801-8) to perform limited diagnosis and routine repairs on heavy-duty military vehicles and equipment.

You will assist higher graded mechanics, conduct PMCS, replace worn parts, and may provide field maintenance at unit locations. A Secret security clearance is required. There are 2 openings for this position.

Responsabilidades

• Performs limited diagnosis, routine repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty mobile equipment, combat, tactical and automotive vehicles.
• Assists higher graded mechanics in the repair and/or overhaul of major systems, including engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and related components.
• Performs PMCS and ensures vehicles and equipment are properly serviced.
• Maintains supply documentation and inventories tools and parts as needed.
