Responsibilities

• Performs limited diagnosis, routine repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty mobile equipment and vehicles.
• Assists higher graded mechanics in repair and overhaul of engines, transmissions, drive lines, hydraulics, and related systems.
• Removes, replaces, or adjusts defective parts and components as per manuals and maintenance directives.
• Performs PMCS and ensures vehicles are properly serviced (brakes, fluids, greasing, etc.).
• Operates in remote locations and supports field maintenance as part of a team.
• May perform minor body repairs and maintain tools and parts records.
