Job summary

Herc Rentals is seeking a Tractor Trailer Driver to transport, deliver and retrieve construction and heavy equipment while supporting branch operations in a safe, timely manner.

The role requires operating both commercial and non-commercial vehicles, conducting pre/post-delivery inspections, maintaining delivery documents, and upholding DOT safety standards with a strong emphasis on customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• CDL A with tanker endorsement required.
• Hazmat endorsement within 120 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Transport, deliver and retrieve assorted construction and heavy equipment.
• Operate commercial or non-commercial vehicles safely and professionally.
• Provide customer service with a professional attitude.
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain delivery documents for review by management or inspectors.
