Job summary

The Department of Game Fish & Parks in Custer, SD is seeking an Equipment Technician to diagnose and repair computer and mechanical malfunctions in wheeled vehicles, industrial and construction equipment, ensuring operator safety and equipment reliability.

This full-time role involves heavy lifting, tight spaces, and the ability to obtain a Class A CDL within 30 days of hire; ASE certifications and metal fabrication skills are preferred. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain Class A CDL within 30 days of hire.
• ASE certifications preferred; metal fabrication skills beneficial.
• Knowledge of automotive and diesel systems; ability to diagnose complex faults.
