Job summary

Curtis Contracting, Inc. is seeking a skilled heavy equipment technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and replace parts on our fleet and other heavy equipment. You will use electronic diagnostic tools and ensure repairs align with manufacturer updates and specifications.

The role requires 5+ years of heavy equipment maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to work overtime as needed. CDL with air brake is preferred but not mandatory. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and safe driving record required.
• CDL license with air brake preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose services through proficient use of electronic equipment.
• Analyze equipment malfunctions and administer the proper corrective action.
• Ensure repair orders are completed accurately including use of current parts and manufacturer updates and changes of vehicle/equipment requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
• Overtime (more than 40 hours per week) may be required at times as business needs dictates.
• In depth knowledge and understanding of hydraulics, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
