Louisiana Cat is seeking a Heavy Equipment Service Technician to service and repair Caterpillar heavy equipment at their Lake Charles location. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in diesel mechanics, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work independently as well as in a team. The position offers flexible shift schedules with housing provided for out-of-state candidates. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic.
• Extensive knowledge of diesel engine systems, including diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on all components of heavy equipment.
• Responsible for removal and installation of heavy equipment engine components.
• Create, track, and formalize work order documents.
