The Heavy Equipment Technician I is responsible for the safe and efficient diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of mobile equipment, including bulldozers, loaders, haul trucks, excavators, and other quarry machinery. The ideal candidate has demonstrated full proficiency in equipment repair through hands‑on experience, strong on‑the‑job performance, and documented OEM training. This role requires advanced skill in diagnostics, hydraulics, electrical systems, powertrain components, air conditioning, and air brake systems, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics and technical blueprints.
