Job summary

Bottom Line Equipment, LLC in St. Rose, LA is seeking a seasoned Shop Technician to diagnose, repair, and service heavy equipment and attachments in a fast-paced shop.

You will work with advanced tools, read schematics, and maintain records, with growth opportunities through manufacturer training. A 5+ year background in aerial work platforms, earthmoving, or cranes is preferred, along with a valid driver's license and your own tool set.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience; repair and maintenance of aerial work platforms, earthmoving and mobile crane equipment.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Able to read schematics (hydraulic and electrical).
• Capable of working independently with strong work ethics and safety focus.
• Must have own hand tools; full .5 inch drive set; some .75 inch may be required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete repairs on heavy equipment and attachments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment per company rules.
• Perform general maintenance of shop tools and equipment.
• Move supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; forklift as needed.
• Load/unload trucks and assist with material deliveries.
• Perform general assembly with automated machinery and power/hand tools.
• Inspect parts and report defects to management.
• Ensure cosmetic appearance meets company requirements after repairs.
• Maintain detailed records for time, parts, and purchases.
• Perform diagnostic inspections and annual certifications.
• Assist Shop Foreman with special projects and coverage when needed.
• Weld, cut, paint, and grind as required.
• Observe all safety rules and company policies.
