Job summary

Bottom Line Equipment in Louisiana is seeking a skilled equipment technician to perform preventative maintenance, general upkeep and light repairs on customer-owned machines, including hydraulics, powertrain and engines.

You will read schematics, operate a shop forklift, maintain tool inventory and work with a CDL Class B license; candidates should have 2–5 years of field experience and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of preventative maintenance and light mechanical repairs on construction equipment.
• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Able to work independently and with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, general machine upkeep and light repairs on customer-owned machines as directed.
• Repair various types of construction equipment.
• Inspect parts and report defects to management.
• Move supplies and equipment between locations using a forklift or by hand.
• Observe safety rules and maintain quality workmanship.
