Job summary

Ring Power Corporation seeks a skilled technician to perform safe, compliant diagnostics, disassembly and assembly of Caterpillar equipment. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues, order parts, and document repairs with time tracking.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and quality in a busy shop environment. Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years of experience, a high school diploma or GED, and completed Tech III training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of experience.
• Completed all required training curriculum to be designated a Tech III.
• Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing.
• Proficient in the use of a computer, Microsoft Office products and dealer software programs.

Responsibilities

• Conducts all assigned work in a safe manner in accordance with safety and contamination control policies.
• Maintains a minimum set of tools to diagnose, disassemble and assemble components to manufacturer specifications.
• Attends and completes required technician training classes.
• Diagnose and perform repairs on customer or company equipment including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems.
• Keeps work area neat and improves methods, safety standards and work area.
• Orders parts, documents repairs in software, and tracks repair times.
• Contributes to the team by completing tasks on time while upholding safety and quality.
• Maintains facility appearance and shop conditions per contamination guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
