Job summary

Delta Group Career Opportunities is seeking a Service Technician in Greenwood, MS. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on heavy equipment, assemble equipment for Delta Group and customers, and work with the service manager to meet safety and quality standards.

You will read schematics and manuals, perform welding, fabricate parts, and prepare quotes for labor and parts.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and troubleshoot heavy equipment mechanical/electrical/hydraulic issues.
• Read and interpret schematics, manuals, and procedures.
• Perform repairs and assemblies and prepare labor/parts quotes.
• Maintain safety standards and comply with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems on heavy equipment.
• Assemble equipment and perform overhauls as directed by Service Manager.
• Order parts and communicate status to Service Manager/Foreman.
• Maintain accurate work orders and time sheets.
• Collaborate with parts, sales, and service teams to serve customers.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of workspace and equipment.
