Job summary

Wallenius Wilhelmsen seeks a Manufacturing-Heavy Equipment Processor to load/unload construction equipment at our Brunswick, GA facility. The role requires operating forklifts and cranes, reading shipping paperwork, and ensuring safe handling of heavy loads.

You will work outdoors in varying weather, lift up to 50 pounds, and hold a valid driver's license to move equipment between yard and factory. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour with benefits and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts and cranes.
• Read and interpret shipping/receiving paperwork (bills of lading, shipping orders, manifests).
• Carry and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a current driver’s license to move units between factory and yard.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload construction equipment to/from trailers at receiving or shipment points.
• Safely operate lift truck, overhead crane, or other material handling equipment.
• Drive and operate equipment including backing up, tilting, or raising/lowering attachments for transport.
• Work outdoors in all reasonable weather conditions.
• Read and interpret shipping paperwork associated with the function.
