Job summary

Allan Myers is seeking a skilled equipment support technician to assist heavy construction equipment teams and help keep production moving. You will aid equipment technicians by phone or on-site, communicate with field teams, and ensure quality repairs while adhering to safety policies.

The role requires 1 year of field repair experience, a high school diploma or trade school, and a valid driver’s license. You must be able to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends in a demanding field

Qualifications

• 1 year field experience repairing heavy construction equipment.
• High school diploma, GED, or trade school preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist equipment technicians with technical support by phone/email or on-site.
• Develop quick and accurate communication with field personnel and dispatch.
• Assure quality of repairs to minimize recalls/duplicate work.
• Assure compliance with all governmental and company safety policies.
• Review shop tool requirements to do work more efficiently.
• Observe and report any deficiencies to forward PM program for effectiveness.
• Participate in technical training with dealer/manufacturer and share with others.
• Coordinate with Field Services Dispatcher for on-time delivery of parts.
• Work daily with Internal Department, Field Managers and Superintendents and Field Mechanics.
