Job summary

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Heavy Equipment PM Tech based out of our Smithville, Texas plant. In this role you will support a positive safety culture in an aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards.

You will work with a team to maintain the heavy equipment in good operating condition to produce natural aggregates in a mining environment. Day to day you will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, welding, and basic mechanical tasks while following safety rules.

Qualifications

• Welding knowledge and ability to read schematics and manuals to understand equipment

Responsibilities

• Promote safety awareness and continuous improvement
• Assist with preventive maintenance on heavy equipment
• Monitor and assist in routine maintenance for efficient production
• Use hand tools and basic mechanical skills
• Comply with safety rules and regulations
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections
• Maintain communications with plant staff
• Duties as assigned
