Qualifications

• Welding knowledge required.
• Ability to read schematics and manuals to understand equipment.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and climb stairs up to 60 feet as needed.
• Ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dusty, wet).

Responsibilities

• Promote safety awareness and drive continuous improvement.
• Assist with preventive maintenance on heavy equipment to keep machinery running.
• Monitor and assist in routine maintenance for efficient, safe production.
• Use basic mechanical knowledge and hand tools to service equipment.
• Comply with industry safety rules, procedures and regulations.
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections of equipment and workplace.
• Maintain clear communications with plant staff and operators.
• Welding knowledge applied as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
